应热流科学与工程教育部重点实验室吴江涛教授邀请，流体热物性研究领域的世界著名学者、美国化学学会杂志Journal of Chemical and Engineering Data原主编、原International Association of Chemical Thermodynamics主席Kenneth N. Marsh教授将于2011年10月19日至10月27日访问我校，访问期间就离子液体、气体水合物、IUPAC标准参考流体、热物性测量等方面将作专题报告和学术交流，欢迎广大师生届时参加。报告时间和地点安排如下：

K. N. Marsh 教授毕业于澳大利亚University of New England，获博士学位，专业为物理化学，为国际热物性领域的著名学者。曾担任美国化学学会著名刊物《Journal of Chemical and Engineering Data》主编，International Association of Chemical Thermodynamics的主席和International Union of Pure and Application Chemistry Project on Thermodynamics of Ionic Liquids, Ionic Liquid Mixtures and the Development of Standardized Systems 的主席。担任《Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics》、《Journal of Physical and Chemical Reference Data》等著名国际刊物的编委，International Union of Pure and Application Chemistry多个分会的委员和Texas A&M University的热物性研究中心的主任以及多届国际热物性会议的主席。研究领域为：流体及流体混合物热物性测量，有机化合物及其混合物热物性的预估。到目前为止，在国际著名刊物上发表论文200余篇，国际学术会议邀请报告和口头报告87篇次，主编或参编著作30余部。
